Dear all
I am looking for nice and hopefully cheap, Japanese food from the following list. I will be staying in Shinjuku for all days, and also will be dropping in stations like Harajuku, Tsukiji, Ueno, Mitaka, Tokyo main station, Asasuka and also going to Yokohama area to stations like Shin Yokohama and Hakkeijima.
This time round I would like to plan the places to eat for lunch and dinner nearby the stations that we will be going because the last time we spend most of our time walking/sightseeing and by meal time, we are quite exhausted to slowly source for yummy food. Plus with limited budget, we hope to experience really nice food than being disappointed.
Our list will be: 1. Shabu Shabu(buffet style) 2. Tempura 3. Kushiyaki(buffet style will be great) 4. Sushi and Sashimi 5. Ramen(I guess this will be difficult since itfs everywhere, but still, appreciate any comments)
We are BIG eaters, so buffets will suits us better. And pls feel free to suggest any type of food out of my list.
Thank you!

Tempura: "Tempura Tsunahachi" (Keio Dept. Store, 8th. floor, reasonably priced set lunch menus)
Sushi / Sashimi: "Sushi Himawari" (Located in the pedestrian Area between Shinjuku St. west exit and Keio Plaza - Excellent Sushi.)
Enjoy.....

Hi Thomas
Thanks for your recommendation!
Another food I would love to have suggestions will be Tonkatsu. I tried Katsukura in Shinjuku Takashimaya before and it's simple wonderful. If there's any others even better, pls let me know.
Thank you!
