Shinjuku to Kawaguchiko in October 2009

Hi, I planning to go to Kawaguchiko from Shinjuku and was told that there isn't any direct bus from Shinjuku to the 5th Station in October? I am planning to go there on 26 Oct 2009. Does that mean the only way is to take a train to Kawaguchiko Station and then continue with a bus to the 5th station? Thanks in advance

The direct bus does not operate on weekdays. Another alternative is take buses with a transfer at Kawaguchiko Station:

would like to ask if there is any timetable for the fujikyu bus for below routes?

1) Mishima station to Kawaguchiko station

2) Kawaguchiko to Shinjuku station

I have found out that Shinjuku-Kawaguchiko buses are only available on weekends and public holidays
