Have anyone stayed at Ryokan Yamazaki (Ukyo, Kyoto) before? I plan to stay there for 2 nights. Is it difficult to travel to the Arashiyama area from there? Would anyone NOT recommend this ryokan?

The location of the ryokan is rather inconvenient. So, if a convenient location is important to you, I do not recommend it.
Arashiyama is nearby, though. It is within cycling distance. Access by public transportation, though, is not straight forward.
