Hi Uji and the other experts Please recommend changes to the plan: 16/10 - arrive at Chitose at 1pm, drive to Toya 17/10 drive to Hakodate 18/10 Hakodate 19/10 drive to Niseko/Rusutsu 20/10 drive to Otaru 21/10 drive to Furano/Biei 22/10 rerutn car at Sapporo 23/10 Sapporo 24/10 Fly to Tokyo 25/10 Tokyo 26/10 Tokyo 27/10 depart to home
We hope to enjoy autumn foliage, to check out Salmon migration, to enjoy a good onsen roykan stay, to experience horse trekking (beginners), and we love fresh sashimi and we enjoy big open space of farm land. Appreciate your recomendations. Hope the plan is not too hectic.
Thanks!

If possible, I recommend to fly into Asahikawa Airport and leave through Hakodate Airport or the other way around. It will save you a lot of time, because you have to travel only half the distance.
Note also that the second half of October is very much towards the end of autumn already in Hokkaido. In southern Hokkaido, around Hakodate/Onuma Park you can probably still see autumn colors, but in other areas, especially in higher elevations, it might be a little bit late for autumn colors.
