From Japan to South Korea and back

Hello all! Could you please advise me the best way to travel from Hirosima to S. Korea (Pusan or Seul) and then back from Seul to Tokyo?
I see 2 ways now:
1) from Hakata to Pusan by ferry (but don't understand how to reserve tickets for it). Then from Seul to Tokyo by plane.
2) From Hirosima to Seul (Pusan?) by plane - but flights provided by ANA or Asiana Airlanes are too expensive (`2000$). Are the any discounters on this route?

Have you tried Korean airlines? I'm flying 1 way from Seoul to Fukuoka for only AUD230. They might not fly from Hiroshima but maybe a city close by.
