Hi there,
My plans are to study 1 year Japanese of course in Japan.
I will be financing it myself, also the money for the 1 year in Japan will come from my own pocket / bank account
How much money does immigration demand you have in order for them to issue a student visa.

i'm in the same situation atm.
i was told i should have at least 2 million yen to get certificate of eligibility.. and that's the absolute minimum. i dont know where you're from, but 2 million yen is about 15 000 euros or 20 000 USD.
