3 years teaching experience = visa?

I know I need a degree to get a visa in japan. Experience can act as a substitute too, I know. Would my 3 years teaching martial arts count as teaching experience for a visa? Any ideas?

You need three years' experience teaching the subject you will be teaching in Japan, or something very close to it, to qualify for the visa.
Unless you have a job lined up to teach martial arts here, your experience teaching martial arts won't satisfy Immigration- it's no use if you want to teach English for example.

It's also much harder to secure a visa with it in comparison to a degree. Three years is the bare minimum, realistically you would be looking at 5-10 years to even be considered.
