Converters 2009/8/19 02:08
I'm going to be studying abroad in Osaka, Japan, for one (possibly two) semesters. This says only 'sensitive equipment' will be affected...should I take a converter for things like my laptop, digital camera, etc.? Or will they be okay?

Alexis,

The mains voltage in Japan is 100 V. You will need to check the ratings marked on your laptop and digital camera charger to see whether they can operate off 100 V.
