Breakfast Near Keio Plaza, Shinjuku-Ku

Hi, we are staying at Keio plaza soon as need somewhere decent and hopefully western (not meaning to be rude though) to have breakfast. The hotel is very overpriced...was hoping for somewhere that might have a decent breakfast and a nice setting (not just a walk in walk out). Hoping you can help : )

There are many coffee shops that serve "morning service" (breakfast sets) in the morning hours (maybe until 10:00 am or so), and there should be plenty around Shinjuku station as well. If you walk from the hotel to the Shinjuku station, there should be some along the way. Prices should be in the range of 500 yen - 800 yen or so, I imagine. In the morning the turnover would be quite fast (and the area would be busy) so you need to think if you want the (probably) 1,400 - 2,000 yen breakast at a leasurely pace at the hotel, or less expensive one at a busy coffee shop :)

Go for the buffet at the Washington Hotel just up the road - its only 1500yen-ish and has plenty of choice and good views as it is on the top floor.
