Hi all. I was reading another question posted here, and someone said that only about 1 in 3 JET ALT applicants are successful. Are there any good alternatives?

I know that Interac does hiring outside of Japan; they have a website you can check. If you search these threads for Interac you will get a lot of posts, good and bad. I knew a Canadian who was placed through some kind of business called 'Teachaway'; that's all I know about it but he said he was offered positions in Japan and Taiwan. Might search for that too.

Yes, there are many. Google "teaching in Japan" and you will be overwhelmed with alternatives.
