Not much help but 2009/11/1 13:57
This is a university providing special courses for students (on exchange programs) to Japan, so it's a bit different but maybe you could ask for recommendation:

This one is a school for training Japanese language teachers; also you could ask to see if they can recommend any school to you:

The phone number (listed on the left) is:

Thanks to you too!

I asked at the Kansai Gaidai some time ago, but they "couldn't" recommend me anything they say.
Maybe this one is more helpful.
I'll give it a try on Monday.

I hope you will find someone helpful to guide you in the right direction - about the second "teacher training school," I imagine that they would need students for giving the teachers-to-be some opportunities for practicing teaching the language. That's why I imagine that they might have some affiliation with actual Japanese language schools, or that they would at least know some want-to-be teachers.

If those don't work, you might have to venture out to Kyoto or Osaka city, though I don't know which way would be closer for you.
Good luck with your search :)
