I will buy a car from a private seller. I already registered my hanko and I don't have to get a parking space form b/c it is not needed in my area. But I'm confused at what to do next? Any help? Thank you.

After you get the Shaken changed into your name you have to get the insurance changed into your name as well using the shaken shou(車検証)
