Paintings of Himeji Castle

I was in Himeji in October and around town by the castle there was a series of paintings about Himeji battles featured in stores around town. Does anyone know who the artist was?

No, thanks though. The paintings I'm talking about were fairly abstract with a lot of blacks and reds and grey. They were posted around the city as sort of an exhibition
