Stay in Japan after divorce

Im from china and i am a dependant of a US military who is stationed in Yokosuka, Japan.
If I get divorced, how long will I be able to stay in Japan? Or do I have to leave Japan as soon as we get the divorce paper done?
And if I am working on base right now, will I be able to continue my job on base and stay in Japan after getting divorced ?
