Amity hiring percentage 2010/10/7 07:55
I am considering putting in an application with Amity children's eikaiwa and am wondering just how competitive the application process is (I've had over 8 years experience working with kids, two years on the JET programme, which I left on good terms with my teachers and supervisor and just really, really want to continue teaching English to youth).

Mostly, I'm wondering if it's one of those things where you really, really have to shine in order to make them even look at you, or whether you just have to act professionally and be enthusiastic about the work in order to get in.

Thanks!

Well, I know six people who have applied to Aeon and/or Amity, and four of them got in. One of the unsuccessful ones was a complete idiot, though.
