We love Japanese food :)

Need some suggestion on a few good places to eat Kaiten sushi (those on conveyor belt) at affordable price in Tokyo and Osaka.

I do not know your budget, but note that cheaper restaurant offers bad material.(Ex. 120yen per plate)

I can suggest some kaiten sushi in Tokyo.
Shinjuku: Numazu-kou(Its place is a litte hard to know)

Asakusa: Maguro-Bito(crowded at lunch/dinner time)

Roppongi: Marukatu-Suisan(crowded at lunch/dinner time)

KinshiCho: KatuIssen(My favorite restaurant)

Tukiji/Akihabara: Sushi-Zanmai
(There are two type of Sushi-Zanmai sushi restaurant, Kaiten type and counter type. I want you to choice counter onei. not so expensive, but good material)

Meguro/Aoyama/Kamata/Ikebukuro: Katu(I have no experience, but I heard its good)

You can pick up the plate on the conveyor or order you want.
You can also write down to the order sheet at Marukatu-Suisan, Issen.

In Osaka, you have to go to Genroku-zushi.

Osaka is the birthplace of kaiten sushi and Genroku is the original and remains quite popular in Osaka.

I've only been to the one in Sennichimae but it was one of my favorite spots when I lived there.

In Tokyo, Sushi Zanmai is quite accessible but the quality is only fair. They do have fish cutting shows sometimes so it's worth checking out.
