How to address a person for a nengajo? 2010/12/10 11:03
Hi, when writing a nengajo, how would you address the person you are writing to? (the equivalent of Dear.... in English) Would it go before (so, to the right if writing vertically) "皆様のご健康をお祈り垂オ上げます"?

Or does one personally address nengajo at all?

Thanks!

Arthur Davis,

You can view samples by Googling the keyphrase 年賀状の見本

Sorry, most of the samples seem to be just the print. Usually people hand-write a short message on the printed card. And no, you won't write the "Dear so and so" because that's written on the other side.
