Hand knitted shawl in Tokyo or Kyoto

Hello all,

My wife asked me to bring her a hand knitted shawl (ショール) or stole(ストール)[I hope the translation is correct] from Japan so I am trying to find a shop that sells them. I will be in Tokyo and Kyoto, so If somebody can help to narrow down my search I would greatly appreciate it!

The translations are perfect, but the variety of designs are limitless. Brouse around to make sure what your wife has in mind. Depending on that, someone may be able to give you advise. But please keep in mind that a lot of the ones sold aren't made in Japan.
