Would like to spend a couple of days tasting wine around Yamanashi. Are there any wineries that I could visit? If so are the wineries concentrated in any particular area?

There are many wineries near the Katsunuma area, and most of them welcome visitors. One place to start might be the Katsunuma Wine Cave ( http://www.bento.com/winecave.html ), where you can try 150 different wines all in one place, for an entrance fee of Y1100. Then if you find some wineries you like you can visit them yourself.
