help translating this (aete dangen)

Hello, could someone help me with this?

aete dangen shou (あえて断言しょう)

What does it means?

"aete" = I dare (to do something...), to take the risk (of doing something)

"dangen suru/shimasu" = to speak decidedly (about something)/state a firm opinion

My guess is that it was あえて断言"しよう" wasnt it? (I mean the last part, the large よ not the small ょ).

- Let me state my view here (you'd better listen for your own good)
- I dare say:

this phrase is almost always used by a person in power, and the statement is negative to the person who was talked with.

Example: Aete dangen shiyou, omae no keikaku ha shippai suru darou. (I dare say, your plan will be failed.)

I dare say this is not used by a graceful woman like AK (I dare say this is just my guess).

And I dare say most Japanese have not used or heard this phrase in real life (Aete danger shiyou). Maybe Kaibara Yuzan or Ikari Gendou may use this phrase.
