Exporting your dog to the USA

It looks like I might be possibly returning to the USA; obviously I'm bringing my dog. Has anyone had any problems bringing a dog from Japan to the USA? Do they (AQS) have to read the microchip of my dog?

There is an onsen (hot spring) for dogs next to Oedo onsen in Odaiba. There was also a 'dog disneyland' on telly!
and there are so many pet friendly restaurants and shops on a street in saitama i forgot the name of

go to any petshop, they sell dog bags for their 'business'
the brand Science diet is a great brand for dog food.
