There is a Traders 2 shop in Akihabara that is selling Nintendo Switch but it's not tax free. It's available at the moment.

It's kind of hard to explain where Traders 2 is in Akihabara, but it's not on the main road. It's on the back road behind where Kotobukiya is located. There's a Mulan store next to it if you see them both nearby together.

Yes, just got the last stock at Labi shinjuku. Don't ask the guy in front. Ask the guy on cashier. Many thanks to this thread and forum

There are still some stocks left in shinjuku, but i cant test the switch. Just read it because it is not allowed to unpacked the switch while in japan (custom related) is it true? Just wandering because what happened if we got a defective stock?

The box wasn't sealed so you can open it to power on and test. I was able to test mine today after buying it. They sealed your box?

Not sealed, but the guy reluctantly to test. He was saying something about as a foreigner you cant open it in japan or something. Maybe its just a language barrier.

Oh you meant to test on the spot. Yeah, they were reluctant to let you open the box. The guy kept telling me it's a new set when I asked to test too.
Stocks ran off the shelves fast. Best bet is to check the shops when they just opened as they might just restock in the mornings.
