COE processing times

Just got my COE today

Applied: January 25th
Visa: spouse visa
COE received: March 17th

Any one know about COE rejected After 3 month some rumors tell after 3 month COE will be rejected some rumors tell coming COE with out any inquiry and I am waiting from 98 days.

So any one know about it Plz reply so I will become calm and refresh.

@ Prakash Sharma it�fs totally depend upon which category of visa are you apply on. Basically it takes 1 to 3month to get a result!
I�fm also waiting for coe under (engineer/ specialist on humidity) working visa ..
I�fm counting today it�fs 73 days�c..

@Amrit KC Bro my visa is skilled labour 1/1 under cook visa from Tokyo immigration is too busy and it might be take more 2 month to get result.

COE for Instructor Visa

Hi, My COE for instructor visa is still processing for almost 3 months already. Is this normal? Is anyone here have the same case as mine? I would love to hear updates from your experience. My anxiety is killing me right now.

Can any one tell me if immigration ask for passport copies because when my case submited my passport copies has been blur thats why immigration officer ask me to submit passport copies again plz answer me my educational documents are clear how much more time to issue coe

Tokyo Immigration

Visa type: 6 months startup visa, 4 dependents

(certificate of confirmation of business activities issued by Tokyo Metropolitan Government)

Applied: 16 February 2023

My lawyer said that usually it takes 1 month including dependents.
But in my case, they still haven�ft asked for additional docs and when my lawyer called, they said �g it�fs under screening�h.

I know it�fs only been 1 month but tbh the wait is just so�c.. In addition to the waiting from Tokyo Metropolitan Government, it's been 3-4 months.

Someone else applied for this visa? What are the usual waiting times? I looked up the report on the immigration website but they haven't written the processing time for the Startup Visa.

I think if the immigration office asked you to do so, just do it. Regardless if they ever asked someone before. Remember, cases may be different!

I also applied to sendai and my employer has called for updates, but apparently there are a lot of applications at sendai bureau and at the branch offices as well... so everywhere in tohoku is generally taking longer than usual... and i emphasize GENERALLY, it depends a lot on luck and when you applied for the speed of the coe

Ah sorry, I said "also" but i just noticed you applied to tokyo immigration, not sendai ^o^;;

Anxiously waiting COE for my husband, this thread really helps. I called yesterday but they told me it's still being inspected.

I applied for the Spouse COE at the Yokohama immigration on Jan 9 2023 with help of an immigration lawyer. I got the message on March 24 2023 the processing of COE is completed. The processing of COE took 2.5 months.
