Naturalization in 2022

Today morning I got a confirmation call from the Homukyoku about job change or address change or any plan to go overseas. It seems soon my name will be publish in kanpo.

Did they call you two times in total? One time confirm to renunce the citizenship and one time to time after the submission?

Yes first time they call me to renounce my previous nationality and then after submission of the renunciation certificate then they called me for the confirmation.
Now waiting for the kanpo.

Hello everyone,
Today finally my name published in the kanpo.
It took me less than 6 months from application until kanpo.
I am happy that I became Japanese citizen from today.
Now waiting for the legal affairs bureau staff to handover the documents to me to apply for family register and then apply for the world powerful passport.

Yes finally yesterday I got the world most strongest passport and now I can travel to any country without getting visas from the embassies.
Happy to be a naturalised Japanese.
I hope everyone can get the successful result soon.

can anyone plz suggest me ....
i had submitted my documents in april 2022 for neutralization and my interview held in september. After that my tantosya called me 2/3 times for documents and i submitted all.. he called me last time in march 2023 for more extra documents and i submitted to.. its been a long wait for my results..after that i didnt get any calls.. is this tha sign of rejection or what plz anyone suggest me about this??

i received call from houmukyoku on monday this week to submit the newest jyuminhyou, and because my place is really close to houmukyoku, the moment i got called, go to city hall and submitted it,
i also ask how is my application is going right now, it is progressing he replied
i think there's nothing we can do other then waiting from them to call us

Still not called from tantosha.
I also submitted new docs just recently and asked but he said still in progress.
So much wait time, I wonder why it take so long.
If its ok to ask what is your nationality?

yaa i changed my job in july 2022 and submitted all the required documents to tantosya...and after that i had my interview. but i dont knw why they takes alot of time for the result ..its almost 1 year..but i didnt got any call...

Apparently when you change job it can take longer but not sure, maybe we will have to wait 1.5 year instead of 1year
I think they are just slow and put in the side our file
