Hello all, on my way to work in Tokyo I see many people handing out napkins or standing in front of shops and shouting something. I wonder how much they make on any hourly base?

Around 800 an hour, similar to the pay for working in a convenience store. Sometimes on their bags of leaflets/ tissues you can see a small poster advertising the job, where they list the hourly rate.
Basically anyone on this kind of income in Tokyo needs to be living with their parents, doing it as a second job etc. It's not enough to live by yourself on.

Since I have been living in Tokyo for 10 years, Let me do a calculation for you, Assume you live out of Tokyo, you cook by yourselves (including lunch), you don't travel, don't shopping lots. 1. For your house rent: 55k 2.Transportation fee: 20k/per, but if the wife stay at home, do not need trasportation fee, right? 3.Utilities: 10k/per 4.Food: 30k/per 5.Others; 20k/per
