who know How long coe in Yokohama?

For COE Highly Skilled Professional (Engineer), how many months to receive the certificate? Submitted: April 2023 in Tokyo. Thank you

I have to say the waiting time is really stressful and nearly drive my crazy, it has been 49 days still no update, anybody applied COE same time with me? appreciate if you can share your status

Same details as your but my date of submission was 27th April at Yokohoma.

Still awaiting for the COE. My immigration lawyer has informed me that it is taking 6 to 7 weeks for processing at Yokohoma.

However, I would like to know in which category does your company in Japan come under?

For Category 1 and 3 companies they are processing it quite fast I heard.

Hi everyone, is anyone is able to share their COE processing times for a Category 1/2 company?
These are always being said to be faster, but I was wondering just how true that is.

good to know I'm not alone, my lawyer said to me it could takes 60-80 days on 05/12.
I don't know which category my company belongs to, I am a haken contractor and I am supposed to work in another country so I really don't know much about this company. But I will check with my lawyer maybe tomorrow to ask

@Curious - My company falls under Category 1 and 2 only. My immigration lawyer informed me that it will take 6 to 7 weeks. I am in 6th week already and still waiting for it. I also heard that for Category 1 and 2 it is faster (others, kindly confirm this please). Did your lawyer give any timeline or estimated waiting period?

@Azam - What type of visa is yours? If Engineer Visa do you know under which category your company falls?

My company said that currently, many people going to enter Japan, so it will take some time until the COE will be issued by Immigration (usu. 1-3 months). So my question is there anyone here whose company/yourself submits the COE to Takamatsu immigration? How long do you guys wait until the COE is issued? Thank you

just got a reply from my lawyer guys, he said considering other application's status, I may need to wait until the end of this month.
and my company category is 2.

No lawyer contact for me, I�fve only been dealing directly with my company itself. I believe it should fall under Category 1, and they shared that immigration told them it would take 1.5 to 2 months.
Will update once I have any, let�fs see if what they say is true :)
