Japanese Village Salad Dressing 2009/9/14 00:22
Hi - the recipes I have found on line for the Japanese Village salad dressing have no ginger in the ingredient list. They do have garlic. I was sure that the dressing was a ginger dressing. Can anyone comment or have a different version of the recipe?
Thanks

Ginger Sauce not right 2009/9/15 05:08
I also tried the recipe posted on-line for the ginger dipping sauce. It is not at all like the one served at the Japanese Village in Calgary. It is too thin and too dark, and too strong on the soya.
My search continues for the ginger dipping sauce and the salad dressing served at the Calgary Japanese Village.

The dressing is a sesame vinaigrette. I live in Ontario and Loblaws (President's Choice) has something very similar tasting.
