COE processing times

Thanks! Are you saying to fly there twice once it's approved and to apply? The timing would be quite difficult to do that, but I was planning to do the fastest shipping method.

Thanks for the reminder! Once mine is approved, I'm buying a next day flight since I'm getting a visa for being a spouse of a Japanese national. I already have a place to stay and etc. I'm just waiting so I can be there with him. I was supposed to leave a month ago but wasn't expecting a delay so I am not getting a plane ticket until I see the visa in front of me.

Honestly, I can still make it on time as long as it gets issued this or next week, so it's too soon to say that it's already over.
But anyway this sucks, I had enough waiting x_x

Currently going loopy over the wait times, I submitted my initial documents in June, had two requests for more documents, the last of which was completed October 18th, and since then it's just been radio silence and 'investigating/processing' every time I phone or visit. The mental strain is the biggest toll of it all

Congrats to everyone that got their COE so far! An update on my situation.

- Applied for Spouse Dependant COE on Oct. 23
- Additional documents submited Jan. 9
- Saitama Immigration
- Waiting days: 130

I called immigration on Feb 1 and was told that processing was finished, and I only had to wait for issuance of the COE. I called back a couple days ago (it's been nearly a month and we've heard nothing) and got a pretty negative response of: "Oh it's you again xxxxx-san? Processing is finished so be patient. Also, calling us isn't going to do anything at this point."

I'm a little surprised they recognized my case by name when I've only called three times in total lol. Anyways, just posting this because processing finishing and recieving a decision of approval or disproval isn't always proportional to how quickly processing finishes, as I've learned.

So nothing to do but be patient and pray. It'll come when it comes, so I'll use the extra time to study and make more memories with friends and family before I leave. Try to stay in good spirits everyone!

Anyone from SEA waiting for thier COE for EHI visa? Applied in December a week before Xmas. So far out of 5 people only one got the COE and she applied a week or two before us.

Just curious if anyone is the same area and is waiting for it

Why bachelor visa process is late if you have some problems so why you are not talking anyting all people waiting there coe on time so plz result is anounce right time Thank you🙏

Submitted early Dec at Tokyo immigration. Nothing yet! I�fm supposed to start work next week so hoping things come soon so I�fm not too delayed though the posts here aren�ft giving me much confidence.

My husband called the immigration last week of February and the officer said that the result might come out this month (March) but the officer wasn't sure either.

We'll have to follow up again after two weeks.

@Yamraj lama there's no specified time other than 3 month. There was someone here who was waiting for 4+ months. Even in sri lanka people who did applied for ssw in november, december are still waiting. Some even before than
