COE processing times

Applied date 1-12-2023. Business Manager visa Yokohama immigration.i established my company in October than prepare all documents like business plan, office space and all other require documents.still now didnft receive any response from immigration.may i know the status please thanks and regards Mustafa

Did you get to Japan? Hope you didn't have any issues with the visa application process with the LA consulate

My company applied for a Humanities visa earlier this week. I should receive a CoE by early May if all goes well :)

I will update here if when I hear something!

I was supposed to start work at the beginning of April but I still had to wait to come there And the problem is that we cannot confirm the progress or estimation. so frustated.

I have been waiting......

No update but just sharing my thoughts.

Now I'm wondering if the immigration's "wait a few more days" could actually be weeks or even months. They certainly do not have a care for others time and situation. This is the peak season, of course we understand but for people waiting for more than 3 months, it's ridiculous. Next week, i'll be waiting on it for more than 100 days.

Am out of words for the immigration guys am entering my 6th month this week and nothing at all we even don't know if our lawyer submitted our additional doc. Am hopeless and disappointed 😞

It's only been 30 days for me and I'm already losing my mind waiting for my spouse visa. I can't imagine how I will feel at 90 days or more... Stay strong everyone!

Itfs too frustrating does any one get who applied in December and January. What kind of status or document matter or not, they do according to the month wise for dependent visa some people get faster some donft .

See a few here in similar boat so share my timeline also and welcome any advice. Company told me 3-4 weeks, still waiting with no updates, my start date has come and gone 4 times now. Itfs tough but hoping we all hear soon.

and i'm waiting almost 5 month now with no information from them. i really don't understand why they say 1-3 month when it obviously takes by almost everyone way longerc

Darn that's an awfully long time waiting. I don't have any suggestion except that your sponsor should contact the immigration office, because you're definitely owed some explanations if you didn't get any news about your engineer/humanities COE after more than 6 months

Days waiting: 116 (16, almost 17 weeks).
Work start date: 1st February - which for obvious reasons I have not yet started work.
Home country: Australia

Phoned many times just to be told itfs still being processed.
I keep hoping and praying it turns up.
I came to Japan to wait for it due to personal circumstances it seemed like the better option. Plus I was told by a few employers that it generally only takes 6-8 weeks.
I also heard of another person from Australia who applied a week after me, got hers in 3 weeks. I just donft understand how some people get therefs quicker than others.

Ifll be phoning them again tomorrow.
Who would have thought that moving to Japan was such a stressful ordeal?
If my cat wasnft already here, I would seriously be tempted to go back home. The waiting has been stressful.
Also if I knew for certain it was going to take this long I would have sought alternative accommodation in Australia.

We try again this week 🙏 and hope for the best to come .
