COE processing times

My husband is a permanent resident of Japan and he can invite someone as long as he is up to date with his taxes ....I don't know why they are doing this to us and yet it's our second time applying for a visa ...the first time they didn't even ask for the bank statement but got denied....we had to Wait 8 Months then applied for the second one of which we have waited for 6 months and now on 3 months probation that's approximately 9 Months 😂 maybe in the 10th month it may be approved.

It almost exceeds the 3 months application timeline which stated by the Japan immigration. Hope to get the COE soon.

We applied on the same day! I'm also waiting for a spouse visa COE.
But, my lawyer informed me it would take at LEAST 3-4 months with how backed up Tokyo immigration is, so I'm not expecting it until at least late June or possibly July..
But, I hope it comes sooner for the both of us!

The company is the one who is handling my case, the date I wrote is when they said that everything has arrived. I studied japanese for 2 years and now I need to collect money to enroll into vocational school. I did have the benefit of living in the dorm while studying, and I still could do part time work, but now I have to stay at a capsule hotel and all that saving I made are going to waste....
Just a bit mind numbing.

Wanna ask you all something, how can i know that this is genuine receipt from immigration and not fake receipt? Thank you

Hi Everyone 🤗,My SSW visa was approved through Sendai Immigration on 18th March 2024.Asked for a document on 05th April and submitted on 08th.

Does anyone has experience with Sendai Immigration Office?

My company applied for my COE in January and I�fm still waiting. I should start working the 1 of May and I don�ft know what will happen. 😭

I applied dependent visa in January 9 from Tokyo immigration.does any body recently got COE from shinagawa immigration it�fs more then 100 days

I provided my self : on April 2 I added wife citizenship,passport copy and company monthly salary sheet
They said ok you add additional documents while it�fs screening
