Assessment

The JR West All Area Pass can be a very good value for those visiting all three regions covered, namely the Kansai, Chugoku and Hokuriku regions. At 23,000 yen, the pass is 6,650 yen cheaper than a 7-day Japan Rail Pass which covers all of Japan.
