Nine hotels are found on the grounds of Tokyo Disney Resort, including three Disney Hotels and six Official Hotels. Several other Disney affiliated hotels are located off the resort grounds, including a few Partner Hotels in the resort's vicinity and multiple Good Neighbor Hotels across Greater Tokyo. The table below summarizes each hotel category's characteristics and benefits:
The Disney Hotels are the most convenient and popular hotels for staying at Tokyo Disney Resort. Staying guests enjoy the benefits of Disney themed rooms and amenities, complimentary monorail passes or shuttle bus rides to/from the parks, pre check-in service at JR Maihama Station with baggage delivery to their room, complimentary shopping delivery to their room and purchase of park tickets that guarantee entry to the park even on days of restricted admission.
Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta
The Hotel MiraCosta is the resort's most unique hotel, as it stands partially inside Tokyo DisneySea and offers views into the park from many of its rooms. Guests also enjoy access to a separate entrance from the hotel directly into the park and can enter the park a little bit earlier than regular visitors on certain days. The hotel facilities include themed restaurants, shops and spa facilities.
Tokyo Disneyland Hotel
Opened in 2008, the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel is the resort's newest Disney Hotel. It stands just across from the entrance to Tokyo Disneyland and is designed in an early 20th Century Victorian style. Hotel facilities include themed gardens, restaurants, shops and an outdoor pool.
Disney Ambassador Hotel
The Disney Ambassador Hotel was the first Disney Hotel to open at Tokyo Disney Resort. It is located next to the Ikspiari shopping mall, about halfway between Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea. Hotel facilities include themed restaurants, shops and a resort style outdoor pool.
Unlike the other three Disney Hotels, the Tokyo Disney Celebration Hotel is located outside of the Disney Resort grounds, about a 15 minute shuttle bus away. Opened in June 2016, it caters to travelers with a slightly lower budget.
Official Hotels
The six Official Hotels are located on the resort grounds near Bayside Station of the monorail line. Staying guests enjoy the benefits of complimentary shuttle bus service between their hotel and Bayside Station, complimentary baggage delivery to their hotel from JR Maihama Station and purchase of tickets that guarantee entry to the park even on days of restricted admission.
Four Partner Hotels are located off the park grounds, just a short drive from the resort. Guests of partner hotels enjoy the benefit of complimentary shuttle bus service to and from the resort, can purchase tickets at their hotel (but without guaranteed entry on days of restricted admission) and can have their baggage delivered to their hotel from JR Maihama Station for a small fee.
Over a dozen hotels across Tokyo and Chiba are dedicated Good Neighbor Hotels. Guests benefit from complimentary shuttle buses between the hotel and the resort (advance reservations are required).
